Today is the Feast Day of San Frediano, co-patron of Lucca and the Diocese, as well as the titular saint of the Basilica of the same name in the historic center of Lucca.

At 8:00 a.m. mass and then at 6:00 p.m. solemn Eucharistic concelebration on the day of the liturgical feast of San Frediano presided over by Archbishop Monsignor Paolo Giulietti. The Campanari Lucchesi Music Association will ring the ancient bells of the Basilica.
