“Spring Festival. Camellias, gardens, memories”, wants to give space, in addition to camellias, also to the gardens that awaken in spring and to the many memories linked to the convent, the territory, relationships, the community.

It will take place on Sunday 30 March, from 10.00 to sunset, in the village at the foot of the convent of Nicosia (Calci, Pisa) jus 35 minutes from Lucca.

With free admission, it will be a traveling party spread along via Centofanti, among alleys, squares and gardens kindly made available by private individuals. A beautiful opportunity to enjoy wonderful corners and spaces usually closed. In this scenario we will be accompanied by camellias, games, exhibitions, a big picnic, guided walks, widespread installations, workshops for adults and children, “A bouquet for Acli” and much more to celebrate spring together, in its deepest meaning of rebirth.

With this party we want to build together a story about the many "memories" that each of us carries in our hearts and that bind us to people and the territory: in the spaces of the party it will be possible to take part in installations where you can "leave" your memories. To say together how beautiful and important it is to remember and be part of a shared story made of places we love, relationships, values, community.

The proceeds of the day, minus expenses, will be used to recover the Acli in via Centofanti: so that, one day not far away, it can return to being an open space for the entire community.
