In Piazza Anfiteatro, pasta and wine by Pastificio Morelli which offers tastings of its whole wheat pasta and "Lucca In Vino", over 300 labels from exhibiting wineries from all over Italy
In Piazzale Don Baroni Viva la Puglia! the specialties of street food and Apulian folklore.
In Piazza Guidiccioni, “Flavours of Italy” a tour of Italy all in one square.
In Piazza San Frediano the Market of producers and Artisans of taste, with a selection of small local producers and their delicacies.
Quick lunch on Sunday, from 12:30 to 14:00, with the “Tordello di strada”, a takeaway version of the symbolic dish of Lucca cuisine prepared by the restaurateurs of the historic center and for the evening the convivial table of the Community Dinner by Slow Food that reviews the best of traditional dishes.
The loggia of Palazzo Pretorio is transformed for the occasion into the Loggia del Tordello.
The "guests" are the village shops, the village festivals of Aquilea and Sant'Angelo with their top dishes: zuppa frantoiana and tordelli, live music by the students of the Passaglia Music High School.
Even the Fornelle try their hand at tordello and its stories, while the chestnut growers of Lucca offer necci with ricotta cooked in the testi and just as many stories of mountain food.
When food is a show, then comes Peppone Calabrese, a well-known TV host of Linea Verde, as well as an appreciated food and wine critic, who, together with Maria Cristina Bellelli improvises a show cooking on one of the traditional dishes of Lucca and with EaT – food and wine at the theater: presents the "interactive" show Saga Salsa, with Francesca Albanese, Silvia Baldini and Laura Valli and the concert of Ambrogio Sparagna & Soloists of the Orchestra Popolare Italiana
Talking about food and conviviality Anna Morelli of the magazine Cook Inc, a Lucca excellence awarded at the Gourmand World Cook Book Awards 2022 and again Peppone Calabrese who talks about Food and territory: history and poetics of narration. Ambrogio Sparagna, one of the greatest experts of Italian popular music, instead, with a masterclass on traditional musical instruments.
