The 46th edition of the Sweet Olive Festival will be held in Costa a Matraia, a hamlet of the municipality of Capannori (LU).

Among the various festivals that enliven the summer in the various hamlets of the Municipality of Capannori, that of Matraia is the oldest, being the first edition dating back to 1976. The menu of the festival is based on local cuisine specialities. Among the recipes that you can taste we remember the Frantoiana soup, spelled, grilled meat, stewed wild boar, the famous co'becchi pies and many other dishes. The festival is organized by the “Sagra dell'Oliva Dolce” Association in collaboration with the Fratres Matraia Blood Donors Group.
