Teatro del Giglio announces its Dance Season for 2025.

The Season opens with the Ballet School of the Teatro alla Scala Academy directed by Frédéric Olivieri, for a show that engages young talents in a series of choreographies of considerable technical and interpretative difficulty: A suite from La strada by Mario Pistoni, Winter by Demis Volpi, New Sleep (Duet) by William Forsythe, which entered the School's repertoire in 2024, and an excerpt from Rossini Cards by Mauro Bigonzetti, entrusted for the premiere aimed at Scala students. The show is part of the GRAND TOUR AFAM project, a project financed by the MUR with PNRR funds, with the aim of enhancing the AFAM network and promoting knowledge of the Italian cultural, artistic, musical and dance heritage, increasing its international attractiveness.

The program opens with a suite from the ballet La Strada by Mario Pistoni, with music by Nino Rota, presented by the Ballet School for the first time at the Piccolo Teatro and at La Scala in 2024. MORE INFO AND TICKETS
