Teatro del Giglio announces its Dance Season for 2025.

An outburst, a confession, a danced, spoken, shouted monologue. A reflection on the existential and artistic crisis of a choreographer/dancer during and after the pandemic. Between desperation and irony, a tragicomic and poetic story, which starts from everyday life to raise our gaze towards a new beginning.

After the success of Moving with Pina and Jessica and Me which is still on tour, and after having signed four other shows as an author and choreographer (A Fury Tale in 2016, They didn't know where to leave me in 2017, Another Round for Five in 2019 and Young Birds of 2023) and after the Trio In Another Place created in 2021 in collaboration with the dancer Kenji Takagi and the cellist Emily Wittbrodt, here is a new solo by the Italian artist based in Wuppertal, who from the very first bars confirms and relaunches, in the light of a new inner maturity, the great irony alternating with moments of intense poetry that are her distinctive feature.

Strongly autobiographical show, which tells of a family, professional and intimate crisis, a sequence of events with the typical "domino effect", in which one misfortune seems to call for another, in which every single point of reference, every certainty seems to disappear . The personal story resonates with intensity in those watching from the audience, in a historical moment which, with an economic and values ​​crisis, can be defined as among the most destabilizing of contemporary times. This "personal global crisis" is shown, mocked, circumvented, crossed, evaded, overcome thanks to the regenerative power of confession and above all of art, now shouted, now whispered through tears, with the head resting on the floor.
